Euston NW1
Two additional dart pubs have been added since this guide was launched, so the area isn't quite as disappointing as previously thought - but still nothing worth travelling for. Nearby areas: Camden, Kings Cross & Holborn, SohoRecommended pubs
-
Cock Tavern 23 Phoenix Road
NW1 1HBThe dart board is usually free, or so we've been told. Home to the London Celtic Supporters Club, which no doubt makes for some interesting evenings. Checked by phone April 2010
-
Neptune 51 Werrington Street
NW1 1QNSuggested by Jonathan Morton: 'A typical estate pub in a rough area. The only reason we went in there was for the dartboard. Rather scary looking locals and a huge dog roaming around, however the landlord was frindly enough and the beer ok. The dart board set up was the best I know in the area.'
-
Royal George 8-14 Eversholt Street
NW1 1DGThis may be the smelliest pub in London, but it is extremely near Euston station and the dart board looks fine, set within a dedicated oche area.
-
Square Tavern 26 Tolmers Square
NW1 2PELess frightening than it looks on approach, but a trifle odd. Can’t see the board ever being busy, so a passable option combined with a Drummond Street BYO curry.
